FAQs
How can I get bread?
During market season (April–October), you can find my bread almost every Saturday at the Morgan County/Decatur Farmers Market. I also offer occasional pop-ups and porch pickup throughout the year. The best way to stay updated on my baking schedule is by following along on social media or joining the email newsletter mailing list.
How do I store my bread?
Your bread will store great for a day or two in the paper bag it comes in. It will last even longer in a Ziplock bag. If you’re not going to get through it within a couple days, move it to the freezer, it freezes great!
Is your bread gluten free?
Short answer, no. However, the long fermentation process of authentic sourdough breaks down the proteins and enzymes while predigesting the gluten and carbohydrates. This makes it lower on the glycemic index and a great option for diabetics and those who are sensitive to gluten.

Do you take custom orders?
Yes! If you’re looking for bread outside of my usual baking days, I do offer custom orders with a 10-loaf minimum (great option for a big event or stocking the deep freeze).
Are the loaves all the same size?
You might notice a little variation in the size of your loaves. Each piece of dough is weighed equally, but they can bloom differently in the oven. That’s the nature of artisan bread shaped and scored by hand. Even if they look a little different, they all weigh the same!
Note: The chocolate loaf and the baguettes are smaller portion loaves.
